The Civil Engineering Club is open to all students with an interest in civil engineering or construction. The CMU Clay Club works to give the emerging Fine Artists seeking their BA or BFA with an emphasis in ceramics, experience with coordinating with professional artists for workshops, organizing and hosting Fall and Spring Semester sales, aiding in the preparation and participation at Artober Fest, fundraising and organizing trips to NCECA, and recycling clay for club members use as well as to be sold to other students. We aid in installations at the 437CO Gallery when a ceramics artist has been invited to show. Trail running is a sport that unites people from all walks of life through a shared passion for movement, nature, and exploration. The mission of the CMU Trail and Mountain Running Club is to inspire and support CMU students in exploring the incredible trails of the Grand Junction area while building a friendly, inclusive, and enthusiastic community for runners of all levels. As a club, we host meetings and events featuring guest speakers, discussions on current trail running news, and opportunities to connect with others who share a love for the outdoors. We strive to promote a welcoming environment where both new and experienced runners can learn, grow, and find their stride. We host weekly group runs to help foster this community as well.

The Veterinary Technology club aims to support the education of future generations of veterinary technicians while building lasting community relationships. Goals have been established to help provide a sense of fellowship through comradery through team building activities, to work together to further education through frequent study groups and conferences, and to provide preventative services for club members as means to fund educational activities and supplies. The Veterinarian Technician club meets at least once a month we try to meet on Tuesdays. If the meeting cannot occur during that time, members are notified in advanced and new meeting times are on an event within the band app.One of the main goals of the club is fellowship through team building activities. This includes public involvement and awareness. Previously, tech students have spent many hours volunteering at Roice-Hurst Humane Society assisting in the high volume spay and neuter clinics, as well as local farm calls to assist with preventative services for livestock. Club members have the opportunity to gain experience next month during the Mesa County Fair and 4-H livestock sales. Future plans also discussed to help further education include inviting guest speakers from specialized areas of expressed interest, CACVT conferences, and involvement with RHHS and the Street Dog Coalition volunteer opportunities. This club is key to being AVMA certified and the more involved this club is with the community of CMU the easier the AVMA certification process will be.

GEMS Club stands for Graduate Education in Medical Sciences. We are a club that encompasses all students who want to pursue something in the medical field after they graduate. The Campus Safety Officer Program, started fall 2016, includes full-time police officers on campus under the direction of Director of Campus Safety & Student Conduct - Pua Utu. CMU's police officers work in conjunction with five officers from the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) assigned to the campus for a three-year term. The officers assigned to the campus have a station located on the northside of campus at 1060 Orchard Avenue. GJPD partners with CMU to provide a safe environment and open dialog between law enforcement and community members. Officers provide trainings and partner with Student Life and Residence Life to provide programs for students that build strong relationships, build trust, and deter criminal situations. Come join our Mock Trial team where we prepare for a competition in which we prepare a trial and compete! The trial concerns an official American Mock Trial Association case that remains the same through the entire academic year. The case alternates between a civil and a criminal case every year. The case is entirely fictional, taking place in the fictional state of Midlands. Teams must prepare both sides of the case (prosecution/plaintiff and defense) for every competition. There are plenty of opportunities to build and re-enforce public speaking skills as well as team work. There are opportunities to travel and compete against schools from all across the country. All majors are welcome and encouraged to join!

The Nurses Christian Fellowship Student Chapter will be the first faith based organization on campus specifically for pre-nursing, nursing students, and their loved ones. Nursing school is not just difficult intellectually but physically, emotionally, and spiritually as well. At NCF we believe that spiritual well being precedes all the others, and often times has a great effect on all other aspects of life. It is easy to have your identity wrapped up in being a nursing student, a future nurse, and a classmate, but at NCF we believe our identity is in Jesus. Jesus died on the cross to save us and we want to give all the glory to him despite what else going on in life. This club will help believers and non believers explore their relationship with Jesus in such a trying time as nursing school, which will result in strong spiritual well being. NCF members will be excellent representatives of Jesus, the CMU nursing program, and themselves.

We work to offer students at CMU the opportunity and resources to explore printmaking and related mediums; as well as to cultivate a community of artists. We do this through demos, information, equipment and supplies, with an emphasis on student's interests and curiosity. Psychology Club is an organization in which individuals can come to learn all about psychology. We hold informational as well as social meetings throughout the semesters. Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) is open to anyone and everyone interested! Science and engineering are a collaboration of ideas and people and we want to include you, no matter what your background or major! The main goal of the Writers' Guild is to foster an environment of appreciation for the English language in all its forms. Forward is a movement dedicated to creating positive change by focusing people on common objectives and fixing our currently dysfunctional politics. The Young Forwardists Coalition is a group specifically organized to put boots on the ground and make a better democracy reality. Our primary focus is to raise awareness for political reform by empowering youth to take action in their local community. We do this by starting college/high school chapters (same as a club) and hosting community-impacting events through them. These events work to increase awareness for both local and national issues and create a base of support for changing the incentives of our political system.

Young Life College is a faith-based organization that meets weekly on Wednesdays for college students to find community, adventure, and significance. YLC provides opportunities to live life together, grow in community via house groups and weekly club meetings, gain leadership skills, and learn about Jesus. No matter your religious background or faith journey, all students are welcome at club. We meet at various locations each week at 7:57pm and have different, fun weekly activities!
