History Club

Welcome to History Club! Love revolutions, empires, obscure old maps, plagues, battles, and caffeine? Great! So do we!We are a group of students, faculty, staff, and alumni dedicated to expanding knowledge, scholarship, and camaraderie between anyone interested in history or history's related fields. Our focus is to host events, meetings, and volunteer opportunities that bring together a community of history lovers at CMU and beyond. We are affiliated with the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society, and we offer the opportunity for eligible club members to enroll in the organization. Phi Alpha Theta applicants must have a minimum of 12 credit hours in history, as well as a 3.0 overall GPA. Enrolment in Phi Alpha Theta is NOT required for History Club membership/participation, however it is an excellent option for those interested.The History Club may be an opportunity for CMU students to learn about scholarships, attend conferences, submit into competitions, and/or learn about extra credit opportunities.
