The purpose of Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideas. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work. Phi Alpha at CMU seeks to connect social work, Colorado Mesa University, and the city of Grand Junction together through collaborative efforts and service projects. We aim to promote and bolster social work as a profession while serving the community in our capacity as social work students.
