About CMU IEEEThe IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) student branch at CMU is a community focused on innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning. While our foundation is in electrical and computer engineering, we welcome students from all backgrounds who are interested in technology, building, and problem-solving.Our members work on a wide range of projects and competitions, including robotics, circuit design, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and more. Whether you are just getting started with your first Arduino project or developing a more advanced system, IEEE provides an environment to explore ideas, gain experience, and build practical skills.In addition to technical work, we focus on professional growth and community building. We support members through project funding, travel opportunities to conferences and competitions, and access to industry-related events.
