The goal of our club is to promote dance and advocate for dancers across campus and in our community. What we do:As members of Dance Society, we try to be active in arts and culture events in Mesa County. We also provide opportunities for students to perform dance via:The American College Dance Association’s annual conference, where college students from across the United States take classes and receive adjudicated feedback from professionals in the field of dance. EMERGE! Our club directs and facilitates a student dance showcase each semester entitled EMERGE, in which any CMU student can create a dance piece to perform. (DM us on Instagram to get involved, minimal dance experience necessary!)Various student-led opportunities on campus and in the greater Mesa County community.How you can get involved:Come see our Dance Concerts in November and April!
