Mesa Motorsports is a student-led, non-profit team of engineering and business majors at Colorado Mesa University, who compete in Formula SAE, a collegiate design competition presented by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Our primary objective is to design, build, and test an open-wheel race car to compete against 120 international teams at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. Members are enabled to apply concepts taught in the classroom through hands-on experience and to research applications of new technologies in preparation for the industry. Structured as an internship-style organization, FSAE provides students of all backgrounds and majors an opportunity to earn relevant workplace experience and to interact with some of the most prominent engineering firms and automotive manufacturers in the world. Our team meets in Confluence Hall on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to work on projects, in addition to irregularly scheduled meetings for track testing, community involvement, team bonding, and seminars.JOIN US!Find us on Instagram: @cmu_mesamotorsports
