The Accounting Club is an organization that encourages those who are majoring or interested in accounting to be a part of a community of like-minded people. The Accounting Club offers students the opportunity to participate in community service and helps hone their leadership skills. The Accounting Club hosts several events throughout the year to provide students with fun, engaging, and meaningful activities. These include networking opportunities and fundraising activities.

The purpose of Acts 29 Campus Ministry is to connect students and promote community through the love of Jesus Christ. Some of our goals include have a known faith-based voice in the community and pursue spiritual progression.

Alpha Chi is a coeducational academic honor society and a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. Since 1969, the purpose of the ATU Chapter has been to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among our students and to honor those who achieve such distinction. Membership is by invitation only, limited to the students who place in the top ten percent of their class from all academic disciplines. With some 300 chapters, located in almost every state, the organization inducts approximately 11,000 members annually. The Alpha Chi Constitution & Bylaws is our governing document.

Alpha Kappa Delta is an international honor society for sociologists. It is dedicated to acknowledging and promoting excellence in scholarship in the study of sociology, the research of social problems, and activities that lead to the improvement of the human condition. Current membership eligibility includes being a sociology major, minor, or having taken at least four sociology classes. You must have junior status and have at least a 3.0 GPA in your sociology courses. There is a one time membership fee. Contact the faculty advisor for more information.

The Nu Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated was founded on the campus of Arkansas Tech University on March 23, 1977. Distinguished young Men who stand on the Principal of Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for all mandkind. The Brothers of the 464th House of Alpha have been holding the light of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. high for over 30 years and counting. We look forward to continuing the legacy through excellence in scholastic, social events, and service to the Arkansas Tech community, and to the greater Arkansas community as well.

Alpha Phi Sigma is the only nationally recognized honor society for criminal justice. Founded in 1942, Alpha Phi Sigma has grown to over 550 chapters at colleges and universities in 50 states. The APS mission is to promote analytical thinking, rigorous scholarship, and lifelong learning; to keep abreast of the advances in scientific research; to elevate the ethical standards of the criminal justice professions; and to sustain in the public mind the benefits and necessity of education and professional training. If you are a major or minor in CJ, have completed three semesters of coursework, have at minimum 3.2 GPA, and have had at least four courses in CJ, you qualify. Recent HistoryComing into the Fall 2026 semester, Alpha Tau Omega continues to strive to be the most awarded and involved chapter at Arkansas Tech. We pride ourself on being men of high moral character who seek to do good in the world. We focus on building young men into strong leaders and active members of society, which can be seen by several individual awards we won over the past year. Brother Oscar Perez has been awarded Fraternity man of the year, showing his leadership and community driven excellence in the FSL community. Our chapter president for 2025, Brock Gottsponer, was regonized for his outstanding academic achievement, leadership, community service, and campus involvement with an ATU Who's Who award. We routinely have the highest fraternity GPA on campus over the past 6 years. We push ourselves and each other through our brotherhood to surpass the limits of previous years. Just last Fall, we welcomed the largest recruitment class into the fraternity since 2020! This past year we have also raised over $8,500 for our local philanthropy River Valley Food 4 Kids by starting our signature event the Bike-a-Thon. This effort was rewarded with the FSL philanthropy event of the year and the Campus Life philanthropic event of the year awards. The Arkansas Tech student chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is a student-led organization to help musicians strengthen their craft. The Behavioral Science Club (BSC) is a club for any student who is a behavioral science major or minor. If you are a Behavioral Science student, then you are already a member of BSC. The majors include Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Rehabilitation Science and Criminal Justice. BSC is a good way to get involved on campus and acts as a stepping stone for those who are interested in advancing to the various behavioral science honor societies, such as Psi Chi and Alpha Kappa Delta. BSC meets along with Psi Chi, the International Honor Society of Psychology. BSC and Psi Chi work alongside each other in various services, such as Adopt-a-Highway, Red Flag Campaign, and Earth Day. BSC hosts a couple of socials for members to attend. At these socials, members have a chance to get to know their fellow members and their advisors. There will also be chances to get involved with community building within the city of Russellville and the university through philanthropic endeavors.

The ATU Bike Club is an organiztion that hosts bike rides that students at Arkansas Tech can attend. This includes road bike rides, causal bike rides, and mountain bike rides. Designed to enhance the involvement of the students particularly who identify as Black and/or of African-American, this RSO is to provide a safe space while also fostering a sense of pride for Black/African American students at ATU and supporters.

For many, if you are a Christian, you will be the only bible most people read. Therefore, we take what Paul said to the Corinthians pretty seriously when he said that we are “Christ’s Ambassadors”. Each of us who takes on the identity of “Christian” becomes Christ’s ambassador – or christou apostoloi in Greek, which we shorten to the first letters “Chi” and “Alpha” or XA. Our goal is to see college students reconciled to Christ and be sent out into the marketplace, the church, and the entire world to proclaim the Kingdom of God with their lives. We have a weekly worship gathering’s, discipleship groups, many retreats, and mission trips that all work to that end.

Chi Sigma Alpha is an honor society for students the SAA graduate program and its affiliates.

This Organization will do our best to carry forward traditional Chinese culture. We usually will have two to three activities and one traditional festivals propaganda, like China night, Chinese New Year etc. We are welcome all the students join us to have more language and culture communications.

Each chapter on campus has a designated member (Panhellenic Delegate) that attends weekly Panhellenic Council meetings. They take part in all sorority programming efforts, promote scholarship, leadership development, and dissemination of information important to women in general. Commuter Student Services is dedicated to generating programming that is geared towards the development of commuter students. Delta Sigma Omicron (DSO) is a rehabilitation service co-ed fraternity open to all persons enrolled at Arkansas Tech University (ATU), Alumni, and field members with an interest in ensuring that individuals with disabilities are afforded an equal opportunity to participate in, and benefit from, the curricular, co-curricular and vocational opportunities available at Arkansas Tech University and the surrounding community. Delta Sigma Omicron has a long, proud, and distinguished history. It was founded in 1948 and incorporated in 1949 in Illinois, long before individuals with disabilities received any public or media attention and long before there were any meaningful State or Federal laws. Delta Sigma Omicron, through its programs and membership, played many significant roles in bringing about some of the legislation and benefits that now exist.It was the first Fraternity dedicated to education, research, and service in rehabilitation, made up entirely of achieving individuals with disabilities. It pioneered in many areas of concern such as education, employment, accessibility, transportation, sports, and recreation on behalf of those with disabilities.Since its founding, Delta Sigma Omicron has contributed significant funding to charities aiding persons with disabilities. Finally, its members have conducted, participated in and have been subjects for research furthering rehabilitation.

The drone club is a casual club for students who are interested in drones. The club will be managed by the students and supervised by a faculty member.The club's activities include attending lecture events, training how to make a small drone, going hiking and flying drones once a semester, performing drone completion, having movie nights, participating in national and international drone competitions and exhibitions, and many other fun activities for those who enjoy drones. The drone club will consist of people from various stem majors like EE, ME engineering, computer science, math, and physics.The club might need an initial budget, but it is supposed to be managed by the students' membership fees and donations.

Educators Rising is an organization created for educators. It is a national program in Arkansas that builds a community of future teachers to come together as one and put their skills to use. Our goal for this club is to provide a support system for all educators, elementary, middle level, and secondary. Throughout the year we will have a number of events, workshops, and more that will help future educators prepare for finals, praxis, and even just events that celebrate educators in general.

Medlife organizations are dynamic student groups that offer students a rewarding opportunity to volunteer with an international nonprofit, build leadership skills, and, most importantly, empower low-income communities through medicine, education, and development. With 18 years in operation, Medlife is the biggest little organization composed of a team of passionate and inspired global citizens that have come together to create change. They have been brought together by a common drive to work in the service of others, and they will stop a nothing to bring equality to the communities they serve. They have teams in 4 countries, and most employees (90%) are locals. Their movement exists at over 300 academic institutions worldwide, and they are growing daily! Medlife works year-round with their partner communities regardless of whether students go on service learning trips. They have worked with partner communities for over a year and a half without SLT's.

MHAS is a nonprofit organization that promotes awareness of mental health complications and factors throughout the Arkansas Tech University campus. MHAS will provide and host events throughout the community to create a better understanding of the illness partaken. This organization will bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to better culminate and bring together the people in our community. We feel that having such events throughout the community will strengthen our community's bond and lead to an overall better quality of the socio-economic well-being of the ATU Russellville campus. Through these aspects, We strive to educate the campus and community in order to bring acceptance of diversity to Arkansas Tech University. We strive to eliminate discrimination on any basis.

Arkansas Tech University currently has three organizations from the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) on campus. These include two fraternities, and one sorority. Mills sought in 1898 at the establishment of the fraternity.Official Short Brief History:Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is the world’s oldest and largest secret national fraternal society in music. This is a club is for those wanting to experience skydiving or are simply just interested in the sport. We are about having fun and supporting each other in and out of the club. Tech Coed Cheer participates in all home and selected away football, basketball, and volleyball games. The Golden Girls participate and perform at all home football and basketball games. Both squads participate in pep rallies throughout the year and various campus and community related events.The Spirit Squad program offers a scholarship each semester to members and captains. Walk on positions are available. Not all members receive scholarship. Spirit Squad members must maintain a cumulative and semester grade point average of 2.3. Freshman applicants must meet entrance requirements of the University. Members must maintain a full-time course load in order to be eligible to participate and are required to participate in scheduled practices and camp prior to the beginning of classes in August.

The Strength and Conditioning Club aims to provide further learning opportunities to students interested in the profession of strength and conditioning. Members will be able to meet for discussion on current topics, attend conferences and clinics to enhance their knowledge, connect theory and practice, and provide networking opportunities. The purpose of SAAC is to support the mission of Tech Athletics by providing a forum in which student-athletes and administrators can enhance the athletics experience at Arkansas Tech for student-athletes, the campus, and the community through the expression of ideas, interests and concerns. The committee is comprised of at least two representatives from each athletic team. SAAC is a fantastic way to further strengthen the bonds within the student athlete community as well as to develop skills needed to become better leaders. The Student Health Information Management Association (SHIMA) is an organization for students who are pursuing a degree in Health Information Management (HIM). The ATU SNA is the local organization of the State and National Student Nurses' Association. The organization functions to socialize with, service, and create a community which serves the student through professional activities that are educational and enjoyable. Tech Sluggers is a club made up of students that share a love for baseball. With the common interest each members share, Tech Sluggers would bring that common interest with support to the ATU baseball team.

The Arka Tech is the university's official student newspaper since 1923. We are open to all students of any major. We are always looking for writers, photographers, social media managers and delivery people. This is a great opportunity to make friends and learn to work together as members of a team. Working for The Arka Tech is fun, but it is not a game. We take seriously our responsibility to provide news coverage for the university community.

The purpose of the COMM Society shall be to foster connection and give voice through creating Public Service Announcements (PSA’s); harnessing alumni connections; participating in and hosting events on the campus, in the community, and in the city; and, preparing members for career success. The COMM Society will join and participate in the conversations on a variety of different communication issues, practices, and topics. Additionally, the COMM Society will have a presence both on campus and off campus connection, through communicative acts and exchanges that can positively impact audiences. The COMM Society will join and impact communicative conversations by creating opportunities for members to attend regional and national research conferences. The COMM Society will engage in, foster, promote, and support communication that changes lives for the better.

Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) recognizes the academic excellence of first-generation college students. We provide a national community of support, mentorship, and distinction for those who are the first in their families to pave the way. Alpha Alpha Alpha, or Tri-Alpha, was founded March 24, 2018 at Moravian College (now Moravian University) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Over 100 members of the Alpha Chapter were initiated that day, including undergraduate students, faculty, staff, alumni, and honorary members. Following the successful induction, the College took steps to incorporate Alpha Alpha Alpha so that chapters could be started on other campuses across the country. Tri-Alpha exists as a not-for-profit (501(c)3) organization, for the purposes of supporting the activities of the honors society.

The Purpose of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society shall be to function as an honor and professional society for students of the biological sciences. Its activities shall be designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment, and investigation in the biological sciences, and to promote the dissemination of information and new interpretations among students of the life sciences.

The Student Support Services program at Arkansas Tech University is funded in total (100%) by federal grant funding from the U.S. Department of Education with an annual budget of $253,032 to serve 140 students on campus. The mission of the program is to assist and retain eligible students in pursuit of a bachelor's degree and ensure good academic standing of the participants it serves. Participants of the TRiO SSS program are low-income, first-generation college students, and/or students with disabilities.

Mission: The Upward Bound projects at Arkansas Tech University exist to make a difference in the lives of low income and first-generation students in the high schools surrounding our campus. The goal of these federally funded grant programs is to prepare high school students for success in high school, college, and beyond. Success is to be accomplished through the following intense services: weekly advising sessions, weekly tutoring sessions, monthly Saturday educational/cultural events, and a six-week summer residential program on the Arkansas Tech University campus. Turner Hall, an all-female residence hall, is located on the western edge of campus, directly behind its “brother hall”, Brown Hall. Designed as a traditional residence hall with double rooms and community bathrooms located off a long central hallway, this three-story structure houses 202 students.

Turning Point USA’s mission is to educate students about the importance of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and constitutional rights through innovative campus activities and non-partisan, thought-provoking discussion. This is done with the use of provided academic resources, which include: weekly activism pamphlets, short videos, free-of-charge contributor speeches, and in-person support by TPUSA staff.
