Housing Advisory Board at Arkansas Tech UniversityThe Housing Advisory Board is a dynamic and integral part of campus life at Arkansas Tech University. This board is composed of dedicated resident representatives from each hall on our campus, ensuring that every residential building has a voice in the decisions that affect their living environment.Purpose and Function:The primary role of the Housing Advisory Board is to act as a consultative body for the Residence Life department. The board provides invaluable feedback on the buildings' conditions, amenities, and other crucial aspects of on-campus living. By serving as a liaison between the student body and Residence Life staff, the board helps to address and resolve issues that impact residents.Collaboration and Interaction:Beyond their interactions with Residence Life, board members engage with various campus partners and local businesses. This collaboration fosters a comprehensive understanding of the resources and opportunities available to students, enhancing their overall residential experience.Empowerment and Advocacy:A key goal of the Housing Advisory Board is to empower the residential community by giving students a significant voice within their halls.
