ATU's chapter of the Society of Physics Students, a fancy name for the Physics Club, seeks to provide an environment in which students of various disciplines can interact with one another over a mutual interest in the study of physics.Our activities tend to be social in nature, and will typically have some relation to physics, including but not limited to:- NASA presentations- Research presentations- Trips to space centers and observatories- Entertaining physics projects (such as building trebuchets)- Hiking, camping, cook-outs, etc.Furthermore, Physics Club will be a chapter of SPS - the Society of Physics Students. This is a very rewarding resource for physics students or those interested in graduate studies in physics.
