The Student Health Information Management Association (SHIMA) is an organization for students who are pursuing a degree in Health Information Management (HIM). This organization helps students understand the responsibilities associated with the role of the Health Information Manager, and acquaints them with the functions of the state and national professional associations while advocating for the HIM program at Arkansas Tech University.
