Brown Undergraduate Journal of Middle East Studies (BUJMES) is a student-run publication dedicated to showcasing outstanding undergraduate research, analysis, and creative work related to the Middle East and North Africa. We aim to foster thoughtful, interdisciplinary dialogue about the region’s histories, cultures, and contemporary issues. BUJMES is open to all Brown students regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national or ethnic origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or caste. We welcome students from all backgrounds and fields of study to contribute, edit, or join our team.
