Astronomy Club

The Astronomy Club hosts stargazing and astronomy/astrophysics outreach events. In addition, the club assists in university-wide astronomy planning with the Physics Department and the Rhode Island Space Grant. The Astronomy Club aims to foster a welcoming environment for all those who are interested in astronomy and outer space. Past projects include a viewing of the Green Comet for over 200 people, Brown’s eclipse viewing, and weekly observing events at Barus and Holley.
