We live in a globalized world. Union prides itself in being one of the colleges where more people do term abroad, but we should not rely on traveling abroad in order to diversify our campus when we can make it happen here. The international culture should be demonstrated as much inside the campus as outside the campus. International students promote diversity, give access to different cultures, as well as encourage different perspectives which gives a more critical approach in many disciplines. International students also provide different approaches on campus and may have different opinions.We are in the process of updating our mission and constitution!
