The Dip is back! Join Colleges Against Cancer, student leaders and the Union College community as we come together to raise money to support students in need through the Shinebarger Memorial Scholarship. We dip in memory of Kristen Shinebarger, the daughter of a Union staff member who inspired the first Dutchmen Dip in 2013. Kristen touched countless lives in and around the Union community. While she lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2018, her determination and grace echo loudly here on campus. The Shinebarger Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to Union students who demonstrate courage in the face of adversity. Recipients are generally those who have utilized or are expected to utilize the Office of Disability Services and require financial assistance to attend Union.While the Dip is our main event we also have other exciting events and collaborations revolved around cancer awareness.
