A More Equitable Union

A More Equitable Union is working to create a more equitable campus community for people of all identities. We critically examine aspects of our campus culture and societal phenomena in an effort to make a more equitable campus community for all. We hold weekly meetings where we cover various efforts related to diversity, equity and inclusion either across the campus community or across society, always relating topics back to our campus experience and how we can make the Union community a more accepting place.A More Equitable Union is open to people of all identities, as people of all identities are valued as a part of the conversation and have valuable insights to share on diversity, equity and inclusion on campus. With that said, we try to make a point to provide a welcoming space for those who identify as men on campus to express vulnerability and explore their own roles as advocates in the spaces they occupy on campus; the club will call men into the conversation rather than calling them out for traits that are more of a result of masculine culture than anything wrong with them as people.Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/moreequitableu/
