Sober Space

The purpose of Sober Space is to provide a sober setting for people to have fun, socialize, and do activities such as: games, crafts, party, etc. We want to show that no one needs drugs or alcohol to have fun. The purpose is not to medically or psychologically treat any addiction, nor to pledge anyone into sobriety. If a student shares that they are struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, we will provide an information sheet with recovery information such as the: UNE counseling center, secular and non secular recovery groups/programs, hotlines, etc. We aim to foster gratitude, friendship, positivity, and community, without the presence or pressure of substance use.
