UNCG Peace Action is a student-led activist group open to all majors. Join us in translating peace into action!We are a student chapter of NC Peace Action, established to empower our community through civic engagement and focused advocacy, working to prevent war, nuclear conflict, and mass violence by promoting awareness, diplomacy, and nonviolent solutions.Peace Action's mission begins with the essential first step of peace: ending direct violence and dismantling the political conditions that sustain it. By building this foundation of negative peace, we create space for positive peace — the cultural, relational, and structural transformation that allows equity and justice to take root.
