Our purpose is to commit to bettering ourselves as volleyball players, teammates, and people of character with a determined mindset to grow, improve, and make a name for ourselves. Members will learn technical skills for the sport of volleyball and contribute to a competitive and healthy team dynamic. We deem the utmost importance to compete with character, honesty, integrity, kindness, and respect for everyone and everything we encounter.We are dedicated to playing as a competitive team but also realize that having fun and being competitive can exist together. Though we are a serious team, we are open to anyone who wants to join. Volleyball experience is not required. Dedication, determination and positive attitudes are some of the things we look for in new players who are trying out.We have two teams, Spartan Gold and Blue, a total of 20 players (10 per team) participate in tournaments across and out of state. After tryouts at the beginning of the semester, the President, Vice-President, and Coach(es) will determine who will hold one of those 20 spots and who becomes a practice player. All practice team players are welcome at any of our Sunday practices; however, the Gold and Blue players must have their club dues by the deemed due date and maintain consistent attendance to weekly practices.Practice Time(s):Tuesdays:Practice Players - 5:00pm-6:00pm Gold & Blue- 6:00pm - 8:00pmThursdays: Practice Players - 5:00pm-6:00pm Gold & Blue- 6:00pm - 8:00pmMondays:Gold & Blue - 8:00pm - 10:00pmPractice Location: UNC Greensboro Kaplan CenterAny student of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro shall be eligible for membership regardless of race, sex ( gender identity/expression), color, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, or military status.
