The Students First Office (SFO) fosters a learner-centered experience for undergraduate success by serving as one of the first lines of response in helping UNCG students address a number of academic issues they may experience while at the University. In collaboration with other support services across campus, SFO serves as an academic one-stop-shop for assisting students with academic advising, academic recovery, appeal preparation, and graduation planning. Additionally, the office is the centralized academic advising center for all Exploratory students at UNCG. Student appointments and drop-in advising are available in-person (Forney 101) or virtually, via Zoom.Regular Business Hours:Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.Fall Drop-in Advising Hours:Check in at our Student Support Desk in the Forney Student Success Commons lobby or send us a chat on our website to see the next available advisor for a quick 15 minute advising session.
