Ritmo Latino is more than just a dance team; it's a vibrant celebration of Latinx culture through the universal language of dance. Our team brings together students from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for Latinx dance forms including: bachata, salsa, cumbia, merengue, and huapangos.Mission:At Ritmo Latino, our mission is twofold: to educate and to celebrate. We aim to educate our community about the rich heritage and traditions of Latinx dance while simultaneously celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of Latinx culture. Through our performances and events, we seek to promote cultural understanding and appreciation.What We Do:We are a dance team that showcases our talent both on and off campus. From electrifying performances at university events to captivating audiences at community gatherings, Ritmo Latino leaves a lasting impression wherever we go. Our performances are not just about entertainment; they're about sharing the joy and energy of Latinx dance with everyone we encounter. We also host various events for everyone like social dancing, fundraisers, karaoke, game nights, movie nights, and so much more.Join Us:Whether you're an experienced dancer or just know the basics, Ritmo Latino welcomes all who share our love for dance. We hold tryouts at the beginning of each semester, providing an opportunity for individuals from all backgrounds to join our team. If you have a passion for Latinx dance and or want to get to know more students in our community, we invite you to join us!
