Japanese Club

Welcome to the Japanese Club, or J-Club for short!We are an organization at UNCG that exists to create a community for students sharing interests in Japanese traditional culture such as art, language, and food, as well as pop culture such as anime, manga, and music. We focus on helping students gain and expand their knowledge in the Japanese language as well as in Japanese culture and society. Our goal is to spread awareness in Greensboro and the surrounding communities about Japanese culture and to create a place to encourage students to learn more about topics and issues relating to Japan.Students are welcome and encouraged to join if they have any interest regarding Japan and students do not have to hold Japanese heritage themselves to join! Check out the J-Club Discord Server, which serves as our primary form of communication, where members can chat with one another and keep track of announcements. The Japanese Club Website has the club schedule, links to all our social media, and tons of resources for people interested in the culture or language. And be sure to check out the Japanese Club Library where we have a variety of books available for members and non-members to borrow!
