Annual Housing Events Every fall semester, there are multiple programs, events and contests to welcome students to campus. Most of them are combined into one large celebration called Rawkin’ Welcome Week. These events are designed to help students make connections with fellow Spartans, faculty and staff in a casual, fun atmosphere. The larger HRL-sponsored programs and events are listed HERE, and occur each year, involving many members of the UNCG community. Brief descriptions are available, so you can decide what looks interesting to you and make plans to attend. Programs and Events in the Residence Halls In addition, staff in the residence halls invite residents to many programs and events throughout the year. These can include anything from events involving students in several residence halls to events for students on one floor. Your Resident Advisor will be a great resource to find out more.
