Alpha Psi Omega Honorary (Theatre)

Student Organization

From the UNCG directory, Sep 7, 2026

Alpha Psi Omega is the academic fraternity dedicated to success and growth of the theater arts at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. It was founded at a national level in 1925 at Fairmont State College from a group called The Masquers who were tasked with presenting 4-5 performances a year. The national society has now grown nationally to include over 600 chapters. Additionally, it is the largest national honors society in America. Here at UNCG, we are dedicated to the success and development of the School of Theatre. We strive to create a close-knit community within the SoT, encourage engagement with UNCG and community theater arts, and offer opportunities for students to create, direct and perform in their own works in front of their peers and faculty.
