Birmingham CANnected

UAB and Samford are working together to address hunger in Central Alabama through a collaborative canned food drive, Birmingham CANnected: Two Schools. One City. Each school will compete by creatively stacking donations into a can-based structure reflecting the "Magic City" theme, with the winners announced Oct. 3 at the UAB vs Samford football game. All items collected will benefit the universities’ food pantries and the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.
