The name of the organization shall be This is Samford H.E.A.L.T.H. The organization’s tag line shall be the following: We are dedicated to promoting Healthy lifestyles using Evidence-based practices through Advocacy and Leadership Together with Heart across the Samford community and beyond. The purpose of the organization shall be the development of student leaders in the healthcare community and to provide ample opportunity for relationship building, professional development, service, and scholarship/research opportunities. Each semester our organization hosts virtual and in person events. Some past and future events include professional development speaker events, fun on campus events, and more. These unique events provide great professional relationships for future networking when looking for internships, jobs, research opportunities, etc.
