Welcome to SMACS! We exist to promote interest in the chemical sciences within Samford’s campus and the surrounding community. This goal is achieved through a variety of fun and engaging experimental demonstrations, final exam review Quiz Bowls for chemistry courses, volunteering with lower schools in the community, and more! If you are interested in chemistry and want to learn more about these opportunities, feel free to contact one of our officers or join us at one of our informational meetings. We can’t wait to tell you more about our passion for the field of chemistry!
