Founded in 1879, the Sigma Nu Iota Chapter is the longest-standing Sigma Nu charter in the nation. In our nearly 150 years at Samford, we have been a staple on campus. The Iota chapter prides itself on commitment to Love, Truth, and Honor. The Mission of Sigma Nu is to Excel with Honor, something the brothers of this chapter have not stopped doing since inception. The chapter is affiliated with numerous philanthropy works, such as Hope for the Warriors, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Habitat for Humanity, and Firehouse ministries. Sigma Nu is best known on campus for its brothers' passion to entertain. Every year members look forward to philanthropy concerts, mixers, and formals.
