Samford University Association of Nursing Students (SUANS) is a student-led organization that seeks to enhance the personal and professional development of student nurses. Involvement in SUANS provides opportunities to get to know fellow nursing students from all cohorts, to engage in community service events, and hear from local nursing professionals each semester. SUANS hosts monthly meetings with guest speakers from various nursing backgrounds. These meetings provide opportunities for students to learn more about various nursing specialties and hear organization updates and announcements. SUANS also encourages our members to join a "Moffett Mentors family," where upperclassmen are paired with underclassmen within the nursing program, offering a valuable source of encouragement and study advice throughout the entirety of their undergraduate experience.
