The purpose of the Samford Shooting Sports organization is to provide the students of Samford University a safe medium to promote education, responsibility, leadership, sportsmanship and a means to improve shooting skills. The Samford Shooting Sports team trains its members in competitive shotgun sports of American Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays.
