"Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people. Waterfowl conservation is facing important challenges as wetlands and other habitats are being degraded and destroyed across the continent." Ducks Unlimited Mission StatementOur Vision:We believe that God gave us the greatest gift of nature and it is our job as disciples to protect and conserve it. And as a chapter, we strive to serve God through the work we aim to do.SUDU will hold events for members and paid entries during the fall and the spring to raise money for waterfowl and wetland conservation. We compete against other collegiate chapters to raise money and participate in a summer leadership summit called third term.We will hold a meeting on the first Wednesday of every month. We will hold one major fundraising event per semester. SUDU is a great organization for those who want to preserve waterfowl and make new connections around all things ducks.When and how can a student join the organization?Membership is open at the beginning of each semester, and students can become members by joining the organization on Bulldog Central and paying dues.
