Samford Asian Student Organization (SASO) is an inclusive community on campus for both international and domestic Asian students or students who are interested in learning about the diverse cultures across Asia. Our mission is to create a space where students can feel a sense of belonging—especially those far from home—by building community, fostering cultural exchange, and celebrating meaningful events together. Throughout the semester, SASO hosts meetings and events for executive leaders and members that feature good food, cultural activities, and opportunities for learning and connection. SASO also partners with groups like I-Club to increase cultural awareness on campus, host collaborative events, and broaden student involvement. Whether you're looking for a cultural community, curious to learn more, or eager to make new connections, SASO welcomes you.This organization is open to all students irrespective of race, ethnicity, or other legally protected characteristics.
