Circle K International (CKI)

Service Organizations

From the Samford directory, Sep 7, 2026

Circle K International (CKI) is the world's largest collegiate service organization. Our motto is "Live to Serve, Love to Serve". This truly embodies what the club is about, service. The mission of the organization is "CKI develops college and university students into a global network of responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to service". We live by three main tenants, Leadership, Fellowship, and Service. Being that CKI is an international organization, there are many leadership opportunities ranging from the club level all the way to the international level. In addition, there are many service opportunities within this organization. CKI has many service initiatives including hygiene and sanitation, childhood development, environmental justice, food insecurity and homelessness, and mental health. We aim to work on projects that focus on these initiatives in the Homewood and Mountain Brook communities along with in the state of Alabama. Most importantly, we aim to have this club be a place of inclusivity and a welcoming environment. We want to allow Samford students to meet new friends and connect with people they have never spoken to before. We will be able to accomplish this through club meetings, service projects, and fellowship events outside of club meetings.
