We are the Omicron Gamma Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated. Sigma Lambda Gamma is a Latina-founded sorority with a diverse membership expanding across the nation. We are the largest and fastest growing multicultural national sorority in the United States.Our first chapter was founded at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa on April 9th 1990. We established a colony in 2004 here at Marquette University and our founders earned our official Chapter status in 2007. We are now a chapter of 80 distinct womxn and growing.We are founded on the principles of academics, community service, cultural awareness, social interaction and morals and ethics and continue to uphold and represent these values as an organization through campus programming and as individual womxn in our everyday lives. Sigma Lambda Gamma welcomes and embraces womxn of all walks of life and studying a variety of disciples as we support each other in our undergraduate and post-graduate endeavors. You will find us involved in outside organization on campus, in the Milwaukee community and studying a variety of focuses.
