Marquette University Student Government has a long tradition of planning effective social, educational, and recreational programs and representing student voice to the university administration, dating back to the formation of the first Coed Club for women in 1919 and the all- male Union Board in 1920. These organizations merged in 1954 to form the Student Senate, reorganized as the Associated Students at Marquette University (ASMU) in 1964 and renamed Marquette University Student Government (MUSG) in 1996.Upcoming Election Dates:Sunday, 3/1/2026 Candidate Registration Form (online& via Marquee) due by 10 pm.Friday, 3/6/2026 Nomination Signature Form due by 10 pm. *NOTE: Each candidate will have their own unique form and link on which to collect digital signatures via Marquee. This will be set up once the Candidate Registration Form is completed.3/16/26–3/26/2026 CampaigningMonday, 3/23/2026 Debate (7pm | Room: TBD)Thursday, 3/26/2026 Election DayFriday, 3/27/2026 Results announced at noon at a Press Conference and on MUSG's website.
