The Marquette University Investment Club is dedicated to enhancing financial literacy and developing students’ practical investment skills.Each year, the club hosts an investment competition in which participants trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, ETFs, and options while competing for prize money.In addition to the competition, the club holds regular meetings covering a wide range of investment-related topics, including insider trading, options trading, investment strategies, and current market trends.Members also have the opportunity to participate in managing $100,000 of the University’s endowment by pitching ETFs and voting on investment selections.Through hands-on experience, investment discussions, and portfolio management activities, members gain valuable insights into financial markets and develop practical investing skills.The club is open to all undergraduate students, regardless of major.The organization is sponsored by the Finance Department within the College of Business Administration (COBA).
