Kultura is an organization based around Filipinx traditional dancing. The main purpose of this organization is to promote and educate Marquette and the greater Milwaukee area through dance about the Filipinx culture. Traditionally, Kultura competes every spring in Battle of the Bamboo, a dance competition hosted by UIC's Filipinos in Alliance. Additionally, Kultura puts-on a large-scale performance to showcase traditional Filipino dances with a modern twist.
