Habitat for Humanity (HFH)

The student volunteers of Marquette Habitat for Humanity work throughout the school year with Milwaukee Habitat to improve living conditions for Milwaukee residents by assisting on build sites, hosting fundraising events, and spreading Habitat for Humanity's mission.Mostly on Saturdays, there are opportunities to volunteer at many different build sites and ReStores around the Milwaukee area. At build sites, students work alongside potential and current Habitat homeowners constructing houses. Volunteers at the ReStores sort, refurbish, and price donations to be sold on the floor. The profits will go towards more Habitat homes. MU Habitat also works to hold advocacy and fundraising events throughout the year for the rest of the Marquette community to get involved and learn about the challenges that face many of our Milwaukee Neighbors.Habitat is always looking for students eager to make a difference.
