Global Brigades: Public Health Brigade

The public health chapter works under the same holistic model as all the other brigade chapters. It is usually a week long in country service trip to communities in need. While on this brigade volunteers and GB staff help provide proper home sanitation infrastructure to the communities that we work with. Together we are able to provide a first level of prevention of diseases through construction of eco-stoves, latrines, concrete floors, and water sanitation stations. Along with the physical work of these infrastructures comes education initiatives at the community level which are provided by us as volunteers as we assess those community needs.
