The Dental Chapter of Muslim Student Association (MSA) functions as an entity within the MSA at Marquette University. The chapter will have the following membership and structure:Membership: The chapter will be comprised of dental students who are associate members of MSA and have an active interest in furthering the goals of the MSA within the dental student community.Leadership and Board: The subcommittee will have its own elected board composed exclusively of dental students. These committee leaders shall be elected by dental student members and will operate in consultation with the MSA Executive Board.Advisor: The MSA and the Dental Student Subcommittee will share the same advisor to ensure consistent oversight and alignment with MSA’s overall mission and university policies.As a subcommittee of MSA, the Dental Chapter has discretion in event planning, decision-making, and operations pertaining to dental student engagement. However, the subcommittee will operate under the umbrella of MSA, with the following guidelines:The Dental Chapter shall abide by MSA’s constitution, mission, and values.The subcommittee will focus primarily on programming for dental students while maintaining a commitment to inclusivity. Events organized by the Dental Student Subcommittee are open to all MSA members and the broader Marquette University community.The subcommittee will have administrative access to MSA’s event planning and submission platforms to facilitate the efficient organization of events.
