Blood Cancer United (BCU)
From the Marquette directory, Sep 7, 2026
Blood Cancer United is a non profit organization that funds blood cancer research, provides patient support and education, and advocates for policies that improve the lives of blood cancer patients. This organization at Marquette will contribute to the national organization's mission by supporting patients, caregivers, and families, raising funds and awareness, and participating in events and advocacy efforts. This chapter of Blood Cancer United was founded at Marquette in March of 2025. The purpose and passion behind starting this organization chapter is rooted in our desire to bring education and light to Leukemia and Lymphoma through fun community events. These illnesses may seem difficult to talk about as they are very serious. By allowing club members to enjoy the service they will be contributing to, we aim to break down stigmas to spread accurate knowledge through kind words.
