Bangladesh Student Association, Marquette University (BSAMU) is a non-profitable and nonpolitical association run by Bangladeshi students at Marquette University. BSAMU will have the following objectives:1. Organize social and cultural activities for promoting the interest Bangladesh and Bangladeshi society.2. Extending all possible help and cooperation to all Bangladeshi students of the Marquette University and3. Popularize the various endemic art forms of Bangladesh and promote awareness among the Marquette community about the rich culture and traditions of this beautiful and ecologically diverse country.4. Support and provide guidance to new Bangladeshi students and visiting families for the successful transition into American environment.5. Circulate the information and enhance cooperation among Bangladeshi, American, and other international students, faculties and staffs.6. Capitalize any opportunity to publicize Bangladeshi culture and tradition by actively participating in various activities at the university.7. Foster better friendship and understanding with the people of the United States in general and the Milwaukee region in specific along with other international students by depicting and communicating Bangladeshi life and culture through various social and cultural activities.8. Provide forum for cultural, social, and educational exchange for those interested in Bangladesh
