Alpha Xi Delta (AXID)

The Theta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Xi Delta is one of the six social sororities at Marquette. Our house is located on the corner of 15th & Kilbourn and our sisters are visible in many organizations on campus. Our philanthropy is the Kindly Hearts Initiative with a local organization Kids Matter we support! These include sister hood events, movie nights, dinners, retreats, outings at Sky Zone, and much more. Our Academic Achievement Chair plans many incentive programs, we study together, and we are rewarded for good study habits and high grades with prizes throughout the semester! Alpha Xi Delta serves the Marquette and surrounding communities through many service projects and events. We consistently hold one of the highest GPAs in the panhellenic community, and recently won the Academic Achievement Award at the 2021 SFL Awards. We are involved in Make a Difference Day, Polar Bear Plunge, Dance Marathon, Briggs & Al's Run, and many more group service and volunteer projects. We also require sisters to complete personal volunteer hours each semester. Sisters find this to be a fun way to get together and give back to their community!Alpha Xi Delta also has a requirement that sisters be involved in at least one other campus organization.
