Taught by practicing researchers in pharmacoepidemiology, this course addresses a range of study designs and analytic techniques for observational studies on the safety, effectiveness, and utilization of pharmaceuticals. Students will develop an understanding of how to plan, implement, analyze and critique pharmacoepidemiology studies with particular emphasis on studies conducted in electronic health data sources.
