Founded in 2021 and formerly known as the History Book Club, the History Club serves to provide a welcoming space for students and community members to engage with the field of history, regardless of one’s familiarity with the field. As an academic club, we aim to foster greater interest in all fields of history, connect students to the greater historical community of Kern County, promote a closer connection between students and faculty, and provide opportunities for field trips, films, speakers, and socializing.
