The Financial Management Association California State University, Bakersfield Chapter is dedicated to opening many doors to the financial world for our students. We travel to places such as Chicago, New York, and San Francisco every year to enjoy hands-on experience in the area of finance. In traveling, we get to ask professionals what they look for in new employees and where to look for good opportunities in a financial institution. Also, by bringing speakers to campus, we introduce various financial careers and understanding of financial operations in corporate America to students.The Financial Management Association International (FMA) is the global leader in developing and disseminating knowledge about financial decision-making. FMA’s members include academicians and practitioners worldwide.
