The purpose of this organization is to: promote continual collaboration and cooperation between ECA members; provide channels of communication and useful contacts among students, faculty, and staff associated with the Educational Counseling Master’s program through regular meetings and social activities; create and promote extracurricular professional development activities for students in the program; promote and sponsor graduate student participation at a local, state, regional, and national conferences; foster professional responsibility and accountability among students in the program; recruit and promote professional and personal resources for students in the program; serve as advocates for graduate students in the program and any additional organization members.
