The Southeast Asian Studies Initiative (SEASI) is an academic advocacy group that calls for the development of Southeast Asian Studies at Brown University through increased support for Southeast Asian Studies faculty, courses, and programming. SEASI hosts speaker events, organizes research symposiums, and collaborates with faculty and student groups to foster an intellectual community centered around increasing academic representation for Southeast Asia and its diasporas at Brown.
