The club is dedicated to teaching AIKIDO, an effective, non-violent, traditional Japanese martial art, that focuses on using the energy of an opponent to protect the opponent & oneself using empty-hand techniques consisting of grabs & pins to quickly & safely that the opponent’s balance. AIKIDO also teaches bukiwaza or weapons techniques of the wooden sword & walking staff. AIKIDO is non-competitive, taught in a cooperative manner, good exercise & fun. The club holds weekly practices & seminars.
