What's Behind the Answer? AI Literacy for Law Students

This workshop is designed to help 2L and 3L law students understand how generative AI (GAI) tools generate answers, including what data the tools are trained on and their inherent limitations. Demonstrating that students must apply the same critical evaluation skills they use when conducting research on any online source. Participants will learn practical criteria for assessing and selecting the right tool for a given research task, rather than assuming all AI tools are interchangeable. Lunch will be provided.
