A Place to Ponder, Explore & Admire. The Lawton Gallery, located in Theater Hall 230 at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, invites you to explore a world of art and creativity. Whether you're passing through, taking your time to linger, or aimlessly wandering, the gallery offers a space for all. The art within may evoke a range of emotions—from curiosity and joy to discomfort or frustration. Regardless of what you encounter, it fosters a deep connection—to yourself, to others, and to the world around you.The gallery is open to the public, free of charge, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday during the Fall and Spring semesters. It is closed over the Summer months (June, July, and August).Throughout the year, we showcase around seven exhibitions, many of which highlight the incredible work of our students. Additionally, the gallery provides hands-on opportunities for student interns and guards to gain valuable experience.Come visit and immerse yourself in the art! We are sure you will leave feeling inspired.
